Yala Peak Climbing
Asian Adventure Trips organize for you a trekking Peak, Yala Peak (5500m) in the Nepalese Himalayas lies in Langtang Region. The Peak itself is with only minimal technical difficulties and includes an enjoyable trek. The Peak lies in the popular Langtang trekking area, the central part of the Nepalese Himalayas, just north of Kathmandu. It is a great addition to trekking in the region as Yala Peak does not require mountaineering experience – but you should have good level of physical fitness which is more than sufficient for climbing.
The mountain itself is located just at the border between Nepal and Tibet. The summit offers superb views of several snow-covered mountains in Nepal and Tibet like Lantang Lirung, DorjeLakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Gangchempo and the famous 8000m peak Shishapangma.
We head from Kathmandu taking a Jeep or bus drive to Dhunche or Syabrubenshi, and then trek up the Langtang valley for five days. Kyanjin Gompa (3800m) is situated at the foot of the impressive Langtang Lirung (7246 m) and we spend about three days long acclimatization, taking day-hikes in spectacular surroundings. We explore the Langshisa glacier and then establish a high camp at 4800 m from where we make our summit bid. After summiting Yala Peak, we either return directly to Dhunche or continue trekking to Helambu via the Gosainkunda pass. Another possibility is to cross the Langtang Ganja La pass. There are plenty of options and we’d be happy to advice you and compile the right package for you.
Our packages can be flexibly adjusted to your requirements – If you want to take some more action on our supposed plan please feel free to contact us any time for suggestions and advices. We’d be happy to take you on this adventure.
