The Ghorepani-Ghandruk trek is a popular trekking package in the Annapurna region. It is rather easy trekking experience suitable for trekkers travelling for a short time. The trek is ideal to view best Himalayan landscapes of the Annapurna region.
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be addressed and welcomed by representatives from Asian Adventure Trips. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for your comfortable accommodation.
We start the day with sightseeing of popular destinations around Kathmandu valley. After the half day sightseeing, pre discussion of the trek is done in the presence of trek leader, crew and other participants of the trek. Asian Adventure Trips will delightfully brief more about the trek and your queries will be answered.
After breakfast in Kathmandu we take a tourist bus for 6 hrs.adventurous ride to pokhara. We rest in the beautiful Pokhara city for the day and can opt to witness delightful surroundings of the lake city. Overnight at Pokhara. Alternatively, we can also take a 30 minute flight from Kathmandu to pokhara.
We start our trek early in the morning after breakfast. Jeep ride from Pokhara guides us to Nayapul, from where our trek begins. We trek through the shores of the Bhurungdi Khola followed by crossings at Modikhola and Suspension Bridge. We reach to Tikhedhunga in 4-5 hrs.for overnight stay.
Our trek today is 6-7 hrs.walk along a steep trail up to Ulleri. Trekking path goes gradually upwards till Ghorepani. On reaching to Ghorepani, we can enjoy the campsite and rest there. We stay at Ghorepani today.
We sacrifice our morning sleep today with an early wake up, which is easily justified by the Devine Sunrise view from Poon Hill. Also, Spectacular views of Annapurna, Bahari Shikhar, Nilgiri and Macchapucchre saves our day. Our breakfast is planned on return at Ghorepani. We head to Tadapani cherishing panoramas of Himalayan beauties and have our lunch. We then head towards Tadapani for Overnight stay.
Morning in Tadapani gives us great opportunity of enjoying Himalayan ranges of this region. Our trek follows through Bhaisi Kharka and Ghandruk Village. After lunch we explore Ghandruk village and its attractions. Gurung Culture is prominent in Ghandruk village. We get to learn and understand Gurung culture along with our trek. Our overnight stay is arranged in Ghandruk.
Today our trekking destination is Tolka. We head forward in our trekking path passing popular villages of the region. Landruk village is notable passage on our way. We enjoy sceneries and lifestyle of village. We then reach to Tolkha in around 5 hrs.walk. Overnight stay is managed in Tolkha today.
Last day of our trek takes along beautiful trekking trail presenting us with mesmerizing views of Himalayan ranges around the region. We take 5 hrs.trek to pass from different villages. After reaching Phedi, our trek ends and we take a drive to pokhara. We stay at pokhara today, exploring the lake city.
Completing our adventurous trip, we return back to capital city today. Comfortable bus ride of around 6 hrs.brings you to Kathmandu, Where we can share our memories and experiences of the trek. Accommodation is managed in Kathmandu by Asian Adventure Trips.
Before your planned return from Kathmandu, Asian Adventure Trips organizes farewell dinner for the whole trekking team including guides and porters.
