Jomsom-Muktinath trek is another shining gem in the trekking treasure of Nepal. The beautiful surrounding of Muktinath, a lord Shiva temple is center of belief for Hindus all around the world.
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be addressed and welcomed by representatives from Asian Adventure Trips. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for your comfortable accommodation.
We start the day with sightseeing of popular destinations around Kathmandu valley. After the half day sightseeing, pre discussion of the trek is done in the presence of trek leader, crew and other participants of the trek. Asian Adventure Trips will delightfully brief more about the trek and your queries will be answered.
After breakfast in Kathmandu we take a tourist bus for 6 hrs.adventurous ride to pokhara. We rest in the beautiful Pokhara city forthe day and can opt to witness delightful surroundings of the lake city. Overnight at Pokhara.
We start our trek early in the morning after breakfast. Jeep ride from Pokhara guides us to Nayapul, from where our trek begins. We trek through shores of BhurungdiKhola followed by crossings at modikhola and Suspesion Bridge. We reach to Tikhedhunga in 4-5 hrs.for overnight stay.
Our trek today is 6-7 hrs.walk along a steep trailup toUlleri. Trekking path goes gradually upwards till Ghorepani. On reaching to Ghorepani, we can enjoy the campsite and rest there. We stay at Ghorepani today.
Trek today starts early morning with beautiful landscapes from Ghorepani surrounding all around. We get a glorioussight of Annapurna and Nilgiri peaks in 5-6 hrs.trek. We then head towards Tatopani, a popular hot destination popular for hot springs. Trekkers can enjoy the relaxing dip in Tatopani and prepare for overnight rest.
Refreshing breakfast in Tatopani starts our beautiful day. We trek today for 5-6 hrs.to reach Ghasa village. Ghasa, known as Thakali village offers pleasant views of nature. Ghasa is also popular among Bird lovers. Our overnight stay is arranged in Ghasa.
Today we head to Tukuche continuing our journey along beauties of this region. After enjoying our journey for 6-7 hrs,we finally reach Tukuche. The village also offers close insight of Thakali culture. We plan our overnight stay at Tukuche for today.
After having breakfast in Tukuche, we head towards Jomsomin 5-6 hrs.long trek. The trek offers insight views of Himalayan terrains. We enjoy the ups and downs on the trekking trail ahead. Overnight stay is planned in Jomsom.
Our morning starts in Jomsom, beautiful town high in the mountains. After breakfast, we head along our trekking trail for 4-5 hrs to reach Kagbeni. Kagbeni also offers fantastic sceneries around that thrill our hearts. We stay at Kagbeni today.
We start our day with warm breakfast in Kagbeni village. Trekking journey, then begins walking along riverbanks of Kaligandaki River. Our trekking trail is steep and leads us further towards Muktinath passing Khingar and Jarkot. In 5-6 hrs.trek, we reach Muktinath and stay for overnight here.
Today we visit the primary destination of our trek, the Muktinath Temple. The Muktinath area is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites of this region. Afterwards, we continue our 5-6 hrs.of journey towards Jomsom.Jomsom, the district headquarter of the Mustang is popular tourist destination. Overnight stay is settled at Jomsom.
After enjoying the morning in Jomsom, we head towards the airport for a morning flight to Pokhara. Around 30 minutes of adventurous flight with glimpses of Himalayan wonders takes us to Pokhara. We can use the rest of the day to explore the beautiful Pokhara valley, which offers many attractions around. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Completing our adventurous trips around Muktinath region, we return back to capital city today. Comfortable bus ride of around 6 hrs.brings you to Kathmandu, Where we can share our memories and experiences of the trek. Accommodation is managed in Kathmandu by Asian Adventure Trips.
