After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be addressed and welcomed by representatives from Asian Adventure Trips. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for your comfortable accommodation.
Our tour begins today with our visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. We tour around the Hanumandhoka Durbar square area and behold the Kumari house. We then head towards the Swayambhunath Stupa, a famous Stupa and also a UNESCO world heritage site. Tour continues to Pashupatinath Temple and finally to Bouddhanath Stupa, both sites being culturally important. We conclude the day’s tour with an overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast we head towards Patan Durbar Square, also a UNESCO world heritage site. Patan is a traditional settlement amongst the city and offers handicraft souvenir shopping opportunities for visitors. Our next destination is Bungmati and Khokana village, a traditional Newari settlement. Khokana and Bungmati has remained culturally unchanged and hence offers a live study of Newari culture.
The Kathmandu valley tour is destined to the Bhaktapur Durbar square today. Bhaktapur Durbar Square also offers best architectures and historical temples. Attractions here are 55 window temple, Nyatpola temple among others. The area is also ideal for pottery goods and souvenir shopping. Next, we travel to Changunarayan, another important landmark. We then head towards Nagarkot, a beautiful hill station near Kathmandu valley. If timing permits, we can enjoy brilliant sunset from Nagarkot. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Our valley tour takes a turn today as we trek towards Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a headquarter city of Kavrepalanchowk and lies to eastern part of Kathmandu. We walk from Nagarkot through mesmerizing landscapes and beautiful sceneries for around 5-6 hrs to finally reach Dhulikhel. Overnight stay in Dhulikhel.
We start our tour from Dhulikhel and drive to Namo Buddha. Namo Buddha is a Buddhist religious site that offers beautiful scenic views. We then head towards Kathmandu.
The last day of our tour begins from Kathmandu and heads towards Chovar. We then travel to Dakshinkali temple visiting Taudaha, a popular lake and other important landmarks. On our return, we visit Kirtipur. Kirtipur is also a traditional Newari village with rich cultural showcase. Finally, we head back to Kathmandu to successfully conclude our tour.
