All about the Gurkhas Khukuri Making Tour.

The Khukuri making tour is a special tour package presented by Asian Adventure Trips. The tour package is based on a traditional weapon of Nepal, known to the world as “The Khukuri”. Khukuri is a curved knife, the national symbol of Nepalese Army. The Khukuri, also named as ‘Gurkha Khukuri’ has been an important part of world history. The Khukuri or Khukhri is a curved knife which is traditionally used as a tool or as a close combat melee weapon. Traditionally the Kami (Bishwakarma) are the masters of the inherited Khukuri making art. The infamous tales of brave Gurkhas are incomplete without the shining Khukuri. Representing the history, the weapon is taken as an object of pride and honor in Nepal and the world.

The “Khukuri Making Tour” is the tour package embedded into the “with locals” package that takes interested visitors to an ancient khukuri making local community. The visitors will get an opportunity to experience the ancient art of making the historic weapon.
