    All about the Manaslu-Tsum Valley Trekking.

    Manaslu Tsum Valley Trekking is another long adventure trekking in Nepal. Almost a month-long trekking takes us through varied landforms of Nepal. We get to explore the beauties of diverse natural beauty with this trekking package. We start the trekking from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and cross the hilly region towards the Manaslu region. We leap towards the Mt. Manaslu and then explore the surroundings there. In the company of Himalayan flora and fauna, we reach the Manaslu Base camp. The center of attraction of the Manaslu Trek also adds up to the Tsum valley. Tsum valley is a beautiful treasure in the Himalayas located in the Manaslu region. The Tsum valley itself is a holy hidden valley. The valley relates to the Tibetan Buddhist culture. The name “Tsum” represents the vividness one can find on visiting this beautiful valley. The trekking experiences in this particular trek are vivid as we travel to different regions of Nepal crossing several landforms.

    1. Day 01 International Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m)

      After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be addressed and welcomed by representatives from Asian Adventure Trips. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for your comfortable accommodation.

    2. Day 02 Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

      We start the day with sightseeing of popular destinations around Kathmandu valley. After the half day sightseeing, pre discussion of the trek is done in the presence of trek leader, crew and other participants of the trek. Asian Adventure Trips will delightfully brief more about the trek and your queries will be answered.

    3. Day 03 Drive to Barpak (2000m/6,560ft)

      Today we start our journey from Kathmandu for a 6 hrs drive to Gorkha. We then head towards Barpak village in a privet jeep. Overnight stay is arranged in barpak.

    4. Day 04 Barpark to Laprak (2200m/7216ft): 6-7 hrs

      Our trekking starts from Barpak early in the morning. We can enjoy mesmerizing views of Buddhi, Shringi, ganesh Himal and Langtand range during the walk. After around 6-7 hrs of trek, we reach to Laprak, famous Gurung village for overnight stay.

    5. Day 05 Laprak to Khorlabeshi (875m/2,870ft): 7-8 hrs

      Today we start our trek from Laprak early in the morning. Trekking trail is descending and offers exciting landscapes of Manaslu Himal among others. We also pass through Singla, popular village on our way during the 7-8 hrs of trek. Overnight stay is arranged in Kholrabeshi.

    6. Day 06 Khorlabeshi to Jagat (1410m/ 4625 ft): 6 hrs

      We move along our trekking trail through gradual ups and downs. We reach Tatopani to visit natural hot springs there. We then continue our walk towards Dobhan followed by Yaru Khola and Tharo Bharyang. With company of different landscapes along the trail, we reach to Jagat after around 6 hrs of walk. Jagat is our overnight stay destination today.

    7. Day 07 Jagat to Philim (1,590m/ 5215 ft): 3hrs

      We start our trek from Jagat after breakfast. Our trail is rocky ascend till Salleri and starts to descend upto Ghatta Khola. We then follow the trail for around 3 hrs to finally reach Philim, popular Gurung village of this region. We stay in company of locals of Philim for overnight today.

    8. Day 08 Philim to Chumling (2363m/7775 ft):6/7 hours

      We start our walk after breakfast in Philim. Heading north through dense forests and scenic mountains views, we reach Chumling village after around 6-7 hrs of walk.We visit Chumling Gompa, one of the oldest monastery of Chumling village. Overnight stay is in Chumling village.

    9. Day 09 Chumling to Chokhangparo (3010m/9903ft): 5/6 hours

      We continue our trek from Chumling. Trail today leads us to hidden Tsum valley, beautiful valley in the region. We can view majestic views of Ganesh Himal renge. Steep climb afterwards takes us to Chhokangparo. Himalchuli can also be seen from this area if weather supports. We stay in Chokhangparo for overnight.

    10. Day 10 Chokhangparo to Nile (3361m/11058ft), via Milarepa cave: 6/7 hours

      Our trail today gains altitude from Chokhangparo. You are suggested to stay aware of possible altitude sickness during the clomb. We visit to Rachen Gompa while passing through Lamagaon. Shiar Khola and villages of Phurbe and Pangdun is what comes next in our trail. We reach Nile after 6-7 hrs of walk and arrange our overnight stay.

    11. Day 11 Nile to Bhajyo (Chhekya) (4030m/13218ft): 4 hours

      Our trek starts early from Nile. We walk through trekking trail close to the Tibetan border. This gives us great views of Tibetan peaks and also our very own Ganesh Himal. We head along the traiul for around 4 hrs to reach Bhajyo passing through Mu Gompa on our way. Overnight stay is arranged in Bhajyo.

    12. Day 12 Rest at Bhajyo (Cheekya)

      Today we spend our day in Bhajyo exploring the area and to fulfill our “acclimatization” requirements needed during our trek. Our day is adventurous with exploration of the area. If the weather permits we can enjoy amazing views of Ngula Dhojyang pass from Bhajyo.

    13. Day 13 Bhajyo to Rachen Gompa: (3240m/10627ft): 6 hrs

      We continue our trek from Bhajyo after the rest day. We then reach Rachen Gompa in around 6 hrs of trek. It is one of the most popular monastery in Shiar Khola valley. We stay at Rachen Gompa admiring the beauty of Rachen Gompa for overnight.

    14. Day 14 Rachen Gompa to Chumje (3230m/10,595ft): 5/6hrs

      Our trek today starts from Rachen Gompa early in the morning. Destination today is Chumje, 5-6 hrs of trek from Rachen Gompa. We cross Gho followed by yaju to reach Chumje our overnight stay destination.

    15. Day 15 Chumje for Bihi (3130m/10,266ft): 4/5hrs

      We walk for around 4-5 hrs on northern route of Tsum valley. Trail ahead leads us to Dorjon Kharka and then to Bihi. Bihi is our overnight stay destination today.

    16. Day 16 Bihi to Namrung (2540m/8331ft): 6 hrs

      We are welcomed by majestic views of Ganesh Himal on our trekking trail today. Flat paths followed by gradual ups and downs takes us to Namrung in around 6 hrs. Namrung is our Overnight stay destination today.

    17. Day 17 Trek from Namrung to Lho (3180m/10,430 ft): 4 hrs

      Our amazing trekking trail continues to offer us brilliant landscapes throughout 4 hrs of walk. Enjoying the views of Ganesh Himal range, we reach to Lho, our overnight campsite.

    18. Day 18 Trek from Lho to Samagaon (3530m/11,578 ft): 5/6 hrs

      Our trekking trail heads towards Samagoan on gradual climb. We pass through Shyala, enjoying Scenic beauties of Himal Chuli and Ngadi Chuli. We then pay a visit to monastery of Sama and head towards Sama Gaon, for our overnight stay.

    19. Day 19 Trek from Sama to Samdo (3860m/12,660 ft): 4/5 hrs

      Our trek starts from Sama Goan. We head towards north, following the trail upto Manaslu Base camp. Path is easier today that passes through forest of juniper. We then head along Budhi Gandaki River and reach Samdo after 4-5 hrs of walk. Overnight stay in Samdo.

    20. Day 20 Samdo - High Camp (Ekle Bhatti) (4460m/14,628fy): 5hrs

      Our trek continues from Samdo and moves forward enjoying magnificent view of Larkya Glacier. Moving further, we reach to the stone Guest House which is a popular destination in this region. We reach High Camp, our campsite for today in around 5 hrs walk.

    21. Day 21 High Camp – Bimthang (3,590m/11811ft), 7/ 8 hours walking

      Early morning trek starts from High Camp. Today we walk for around 7-8 hrs through amazing landscapes of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and Annapurna II. Perfect weather conditions, can create outstanding sceneries of Manaslu which can be enjoyed from this spot.

    22. Day 22 Rest day at Bimthang

      We take a rest day today in Bimthang to soothe our health conditions and explore the Bimthang areas. It is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of Himalayan culture and traditions and also effective to relax our tired body.

    23. Day 23 Trek Bimthang to Dharapani(1860m/6,100ft): 6-7 hrs

      After the rest day in Bimthang, we continue our walk towards Dharapani. Descending trail passes through different flora and fauna of this region. The village of Gho,Tilje village and Dudh Khola is major destinations in our trail. After 6-7 hrs of trek, we finally reach Dharapani for overnight stay.

    24. Day 24 Dharapani - Ghermu (1100m/3608ft): 7 hrs

      We continue to descend from Dharapani today. We head forward in our 7 hrs journey towards Ghermu passing Marsyandi River and the village of Tal in our way. We then cross Chyamje and descend forward towards Jagat to finally reach Ghermu. Overnight stay is arranged in Ghermu.

    25. Day 25 Ghermu - Besisahar (800m/2625 ft): 4 hrs

      Our trek today takes us to Beshisahar, end point of the wonderful journey. We pass through several famous villages in our final walk. 4 hrs of journey gives us opportunity to visit Bhulbhule, Khudi villages on the path. We finally reach Beshisahar, concluding the amazing trek.

    26. Day 26 Drive Besi Sahar to Kathmandu by bus: 7/8 hrs

      After successful completion of Tsum valley trek with Manaslu Base Camp, today we drive back to Kathmandu. 7-8 hrs of drive brings us back to the capital city. Evening time in Kathmandu can be used for souvenir shopping and relaxations.

    27. Day 27 Farewell Dinner

      Before your planned return from Kathmandu, Asian Adventure Trips Organizes farewell dinner for the whole trekking team including guides and porters. We share our experiences with each other and also have an opportunity to plan our next trip to Nepal with Asian Adventure Trips.
