The trek is ideal for trekkers alluring towards gorgeous peaks of Nepal. We experience snowcapped mountain views, brilliant panoramas and opportunity to witness geography and culture of the Himalayan region.
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be addressed and welcomed by representatives from Asian Adventure Trips. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for your comfortable accommodation.
We start the day with sightseeing of popular destinations around Kathmandu valley. After the half day sightseeing, pre discussion of the trek is done in the presence of trek leader, crew and other participants of the trek. Asian Adventure Trips will delightfully brief more about the trek and your queries will be answered.
Our day begins with an early breakfast in Kathmandu after which we will accompany you to Domestic Terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport for morning flight to Lukla(2800 m). We fly for 40 minutes exploring beautiful sceneries and mountains of Nepal. We land at Tenzing-Hillary airport in Lukla and meet our rest of the trekking crew. Trekking starts after some essential arrangements and packing. We trek through the beautiful village of Lukla to Phakding. We take a short hike today as it assists us in acclimatization. However, Side trip to nearby monastery can be arranged for willing participants. We spend the night in Phakding.
Our trek for today starts after breakfast in Phakding. We then set off for a beautiful journey of around 5-6 hours across short uphill and downhill paths. Spectacular view of Mt. Thamserku can be seen from Benkar village on our way. We pass over Dudh Koshi River via several crossings and finally reach to Sagarmatha national park at Monjo. Our trekking journey continues to Jorsale, the last village till Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche, we stop at chautara to enjoy the view of Kwangde peak and its sister peaks Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lotse and Twache. Finally, our trek for the day ends with overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
This is the rest day at Namche Bazaar. For “acclimatization” needed during this trek, we schedule three such rest days in our trek. As suggested by health experts, we should not be completely idle during rest days. So, we opt to take a small hike to Thame or Khunde. You also have an option to rather stay at Namche Bazaar and enjoy different attractions there. Doing so, you can also learn about Sherpa culture and extend your knowledge about mountains and mountaineering.
After our rest day at Namche, we continue the trek after breakfast. We head to Tengboche for a trek of approximately 5-6 hrs. Trekking trail today is mostly smooth. On our way, we enjoy compelling views of Himalayan Glories, Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam and Thamserku. You will be guided through wildlife and natural beauty of Khumbu region. We reach Phunki Thenga after crossing pine forests and bridge over Dudh Koshi River. After having lunch at Phunki Thenga, we follow our trekking trail to tougher climb through pine forests to finally reach Tengboche. Attractions here are beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Nuptse and the biggest Monastery of the Khumbu Region. After visiting the Buddhist Monastery, we return to Tengboche for overnight stay.
Tengboche offers us beautiful Scenic views of popular peaks Kangtega, Thamserku, AmaDablam, Tengboche, Lhotse and Nuptse with the start of our morning. We then start our trek for the day on the trail along with Imja Khola. We walk enjoying beautiful views of Mt. Ama Dablam and other peaks of this region.We then reach Deboche, where we can opt to visit a nearby Buddhist nunnery. Ahead in our trek, comes Pangboche. Pangboche offers us beautiful landscapes of Khumbu region. Then, our trekking trail leads us to Shomare, followed by Orsho. Orsho offers views of Pumori, Mesmerizing peak of this region. Our 5-6 hrs trek concludes after we reach Dingboche for Overnight stay.
Our early Morning trek for today starts after breakfast. Gradual climb leads us to flat lands offering a marvelous view of the Mountains of Khumbu region. Crossing a suspension bridge, we reach Duglna for lunch. Steep climb, then takes us to Lobuche. After today’s 5-6 hrs trek, overnight stay is planned in Lobuche
After breakfast, we trek towards Gorakshep. Our main destination for today is Everest Base Camp, where we head after lunch. Attractions today are Close and compelling views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam among others. We return to Gorakshep for Overnight stay today.
We sacrifice our morning sleep today with an early wake up, which is easily justified by the Devine Sunrise view from Kala Patthar. Our breakfast is planned on return at Gorak Shep. We head to Lobuche cherishing panoramas of Himalayan beauties and have our lunch. We then head towards Pheriche for overnight stay.
Our trek for today is mostly descending with few ups and downs along the trail. With accompany of Himalayan geography, we head towards Tengboche. In about 5-6 hrs, we reach to Tengboche, which is a prosperous village with tourist attractions. Overnight stay at Tengboche.
After breakfast, we continue our trekking trail towards Namche. Setting off in this 4-5 hrs journey gives us enchanting views and sceneries throughout the way. After lunch at Khumjung, We continue our exciting journey towards Namche, which also is our Overnight stay destination.
We descend towards Phakding after breakfast in the morning. We cross through tourist exit checkpoint and head towards Jorsale, our lunch destination for today. Finally, our trek leads us to Phakding and wrap up for overnight stay.
Already on our way back, we follow trekking trail to Lukla after breakfast in Phakding. We conclude our trekking experiences on reaching to Lukla today, where we rest with overnight stay.
After breakfast we set off from Tenzing-Hillary Airport of Lukla for a 40 minutes flight to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, we enjoy rest day and conclude our amazing trip. We share experiences and memories and stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Before your planned return from Kathmandu, Asian Adventure Trips organizes farewell dinner for the whole trekking team including guides and porters. We share our experiences with each other and also have an opportunity to plan our next trip to Nepal with Asian Adventure Trips.
